Qualification / Eligibility
- Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an foreign university.
- The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
OR
- Candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009.
- NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such masters degrees in subjects for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script
Mode of Appointment
Appointment for the Assistant Professor post will be made based on Written examination & Interview.

Pattern of Examination
1.Written examination:
The written examination shall consist of the following papers carrying the marks and time allowed, as shown bellow
| Paper | Subjects | Marks | Time |
| I | Subject concerned with the post | 75 | 3 Hours. |
| II | Subject concerned with the post | 75 | 3 Hours. |
| III | General Studies of Rajasthan | 50 | 2 Hours. |
| Total Marks | 200 |
2. Interview:
- The interview shall carry 24 marks.
- To the extent of three times of total number of vacancies (category wise), the candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in written examination as may be fixed by the Commission, shall be summoned for interview.
